Redefining Hospitality with Three Holiday Inn Hotels in Bengal

Tie-ups with International companies of significant repute are always a proud achievement. InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), a leading hotel company in the world has announced their partnership with The Jain Group to bring their popular hotel brand Holiday Inn in West Bengal. Three hotels are scheduled to come up in Kolkata, Durgapur and Siliguri within the next two to three years. The family brand hotels which have been the principal reason behind IHG’s 85% growth in India are sure to give tourism and hospitality a big boost in Bengal.

Located next to City Centre II in New Town, Rajarhat, the hotel promises to have 150 rooms, which include four deluxe suites. Built on a massive area of over one lakh sq. ft, the hotel will feature three specialty restaurants, two floors dedicated to banqueting, a swimming pool, a gymnasium and a spa among other facilities.

Holiday Inn will be the first internationally recognized and branded hotel in Durgapur. With Durgapur rapidly growing and the new airport scheduled to open very soon, the presence of such a hotel will be more than an advantage. The location of the hotel next to the NSHM Knowledge Campus in Muchipara on National Highway 2 adds advantage to it. The hotel is built on an area of 80,000 sq. ft. and boasts of 130 rooms, three banquet halls, a 24 hour coffee shop, a swimming pool, three fine dining restaurants, a gym and a salon.

Siliguri 5 star hotelHoliday Inn Siliguri will not only be the first internationally branded hotel in Siliguri but also the whole of North Bengal. The hotel is located on the picturesque Hillcart Road, near Darjeeling More. The hotel will be built on a large area of one lakh sq. ft. for 100 rooms, three banquet halls, three specialty restaurants, a swimming pool, a health club and a salon. With a hotel of such a stature, tourism will receive a positive boost in the North Bengal region.

The three hotels will redefine hospitality in Bengal as the premium locations of the hotels and the services offered will ensure their success. With Holiday Inn Kolkata expected to begin operations by the end of this year, this partnership will redefine hospitality in Bengal.
